The Jesus Band
The Jesus Band was founded in 2008 by Mark and Sharon Cattich. Through their blend of anthemic melodies and electro-acoustic ballads, The Jesus Band creates a soundtrack for believers and non-believers, alike. Their music is an eclectic blend of electronica and sweeping orchestral melodies with strong beats and supple guitar riffs. Their style encompasses a lyrical poetry that merges faith with doubt, pain with joy, and healing with suffering. Their songs call to the listener to hold on to Jesus when life is falling apart. Sharon's earnest lyrics remind us of who God is, and what He has promised, and through their music, Mark and Sharon hope to bring believers into earnest worship while inviting non-believers into a new relationship with Jesus.
Their upcoming album, "Songs of Faith & Failings" was primarily written during the Covid-19 pandemic after their son was diagnosed with Autism. During the months following his diagnosis, Mark and Sharon found themselves crying out to God for comfort and healing. Throughout their struggles, God's faithfulness and majesty were apparent and their upcoming album is the testimony that there is hope in Jesus no matter the circumstance.
